An Open Letter To The House Of Representatives

18 Dec

This post was taken down out of respect for the victims of the shootings in Arizona, in particular Gabrielle Giffords.  The post was all about frustration and hate, and while I would definitely say that I was correct about it, it isn’t helpful or respectful and very possibly, it isn’t responsible, either.

I discuss it further in Screaming At The Hate.

You already trumped me on a Vick blog and now this because I was too slow?!? Give the go ahead on writing something or I will just go back to cock fights in the back of a limo. What is that sound? Ohhhhh…..must be the chain dragging behind the car! Poor little fella probably kept up a mile or two…..

Do you have any idea what the penalty is for animal cruelty in this state? Cause it’s probably pretty stiff.

Excellent post! I hope it doesn’t win you a visit from the suits in the crown vic’s. You haven’t done anything wrong but those lazy dumb asses have the limited insight to complain about working so I don’t thing abuse if federal power is too much of a stretch. I’m reposting this one! Awesome rocket fuel powered power rant, Tommy C!

Couldn’t agree more…but DAMN if they aren’t us! Average, poor, educated/uneducated Joes n Janes can be just as petty and self-absorbed, just not on such a “grand” stage. (By the way, it was grand at some point, wasn’t it? Or am i deluding myself?) And maybe there are a couple of true villains in the House that have shaved their goatees and refrain from tapping their fingers together whispering “excellent” so as not to be so obviously evil, but what truly astounds me is the sheer concentration of pompous, self-entitled assholes they appear to be. How is that possible?
i mean doesn’t it seem overwhelmingly so, both sides of the aisle and all? Is it the House itself that makes them so? The process that gets them there? Surely (not Shirley) not all of these people were priviledged from day 1.
Am just choking on my own rage now…am going to stop…gonna start ranting more incoherently.
But before i go, was just gonna erase this because was starting to go off deep end but am leaving this “comment” up for one reason…
Does anyone know a reasonable solution?
